Kazakh oil decreases in price

Notwithstanding the fact that compare to the previous month the price of Kazakh oil has increased by 2.4 percent, compared to the beginning of 2019 the price of Kazakh oil has actually decreased by 7.3 percent, Trend reports via lsm.kz

“The highest price point was set for Kyzylorda region oil. A tons of the oil cost 84,300 tenge (decrease of 1.8 percent),” reads the message.

“Aktobe region oil price has decreased by 5.3 percent since the beginning of the year (72,600 tenge per ton), Mangystau region oil price has decreased by 3.7 percent since the beginning of the year (55,400 tenge per ton), whereas the Atyrau region oil price has decreased by 9.5 percent since the beginning of the year (59,000 tenge per ton),” the report said.

Furthermore, the cost per ton of gasoline on average amounted to 130,200 tenge in April. The price has decreased by 4.8 percent in a month and by 11.5 percent since the beginning of the year.

In contrast, the price of diesel fuel has increased by 0.7 percent and amounts to 172,700 tenge, whereas the price of mazut has decreased by 3.1 percent and equals 70,900 tenge.
