Baku, Azerbaijan, June 3

By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:

Some 2 million barrels of gas condensate were put up for sale at the Iranian energy exchange (IRENEX) on June 3, with no sales having been made due to lack of customers, Trend reports referring to ISNA.

The initial price of the gas condensate of Iran’s South Pars Gas Complex was set at $67.14 per barrel.

The gas condensates were put up for sale at IRENEX in accordance with new regulations – as such, the customer may pay 6 percent of the price of their order in Iranian rials or in a foreign currency.

This has been the 6th time that gas condensates of the South Pars Gas Complex have been put up for sale at IRENEX, despite the persistent lack of customers.
