Uzbekistan’s major oil company Uzbekneftegaz and delegation of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (CNODC) discussed the possibility of acceleration of the construction of a fourth line of Central Asia – China pipeline, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Uzbekneftegaz.
“The agenda also included discussion of the issues on agreeing on the volume of Uzbek gas to be transported via the pipeline,” the report said.
Recently, Uzbekneftegaz reported on the development of the project on construction of the fourth line of Central Asia – China pipeline. The project is being implemented together with Chinese CNPC corporation. A group of specialists is working currently on applying international standards in the construction process.
New line of the pipeline will not copy routes of other three lines; it will pass through five countries including Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China.
