Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) has become one of the leading specialized enterprises in Central Asia, Trend reports referring to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
New units commissioned with the participation of companies from the US, Germany, Malaysia, Japan, Israel, Iran, France and Turkey operate in a stable mode of growth of the quality and production volumes of all types of oil products, the article reads.
Uninterrupted operation of technological installations is reliably ensured by a gas turbine power plant, desalination plants, boiler houses, cooling towers, pumping stations, tank farms and other facilities of modern industrial infrastructure.
The complex produces high-octane unleaded automobile gasoline of various grades, aviation, lighting and technical kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel, and eco-friendly EKO-4 and EKO-5 diesel fuel. The large enterprise produces more than 30 brands of lubricating oils, polypropylene, calcined electrode coke, high-quality road and building bitumen, and heating oil.
TCOR includes 2 enterprises – one refinery in the city of Turkmenbashi and another one in the city of Seydi.
