Iran discloses volume of chemicals, petrochemical products produced during 4 months

Iran produced 18.4 million tons of chemicals and petrochemical products during the first four months of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

According to the ministry's report, production increased by 2.5 percent compared to the same period of last Iranian year.

Some 1.5 million tons of polyethylene were produced during four months of this year, which 6.4 percent more compared to the same period of last Iranian year.

The table shows the main chemicals and petrochemical products produced in Iran (1,000 tons):
