Iran's oil revenues will make up $14M per day

In accordance with Iran’s plan for the growth and preservation of the country’s oil production, Iran's oil revenues will make up $14 million a day, at $50 per barrel, Deputy CEO of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Reza Dehghan told Shana News Agency, Trend reports.

According to him, the implementation of this plan will increase Iran's crude oil production by about 280,000 barrels a day.

Dehghan noted that the plan includes 33 work packages, and added that 10 work packages were determined last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019).

"Eight packages will be determined within the next month, and the remaining 15 packages by the end of the [current Iranian] year [March 21, 2020]," he said.

Dehghan also said that $6.2 billion will be invested in the plan, and that 30 trillion rials (app. $714 million) have been made through the sale of securities.

According to Dehghan, the plan will be implemented in seven provinces of Iran, including Kermanshah, Ilam, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Khuzestan, Fars, Bushehr, and Hormozgan.
