Kazakhstan exports over 30,000 tons of petrol

Kazakhstan has exported 32,600 tons of petrol during first nine months of 2019, First Vice-Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Makhambet Dosmukhambetov said, Trend reports with reference to the press office of prime minister of Kazakhstan.

Dosmukhambetov noted that in order to support the manufacturing of petrol, the export of cars petrol to countries outside Eurasian Economic Union has been launched in July.

“A couple of months ago we had a standing issue of overstocking. Our plants literally had to decrease the manufacturing because country’s reservoir parks were full. This is why the export will continue, but it relies on concrete agreements,” vice minister said.

Dosmukhambetov reminded, that due to the successful modernization of three refineries in 2018, the capacity and depth of processing in the country has been increased in the area of petrol products manufacturing.

The volume of manufacturing of these three refineries amounted to 12.7 million tons from January to September, which is five percent more compared to the same period of last year.

Manufacturing of petrol increased by 15 percent, of diesel fuel by 10 percent, of jet fuel by over two times compared to the reporting period of last year.

“The increase of the manufacturing has affected the retail market, which displayed a decreased of petrol pricing since the beginning of the year,” Dosmukhambetov concluded.
