Over 17,000 tons of paint and varnish were produced in Azerbaijan from January through September 2019, which is 1.8 times more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
Azerbaijan produced 74,700 tons of propylene from January through September 2019, which is 59.3 percent more than in the same period of 2018.
During the reporting period, 98,000 tons of ethylene were produced in the country (an increase of 14.4 percent for the year).
Growth was observed during nine months of 2019 in the production of most of the main types of chemical products in Azerbaijan.
