By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:
Iran's Persian Gulf Star Oil Company produces from three million to five million liters of naphtha per year, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister, Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Alireza Sadeghabadi said, Trend reports via IRNA.
However, two years ago (until March 21, 2018), there were difficulties with the fuel supply of Iranian petrochemical plants, Sadeghabadi said.
In addition to the aforementioned company, some of the naphtha produced at Abadan, Shazand and Tabriz Oil Refineries is also supplied to Iranian petrochemical plants, the deputy minister added.
The deputy oil minister noted that Iran's oil refineries, in addition to meeting domestic demand, are exporting a certain amount of naphtha.
