Oil refinery in eastern Turkmenistan increasing output

Seydi oil refinery in Turkmenistan’s Lebap province ensured steady increase in production from January through September of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmennebit State Concern.

The major part of the refinery products is exported, the report said.

During the reporting period, about 427,000 tons of crude oil were delivered to the refinery,and the output of oil products reached more than 373,300 tons.

Over-plan production amounted to 46,000 tons, the growth rate compared to the same period last year was 104.3 percent. During that period, about 136,400 tons of various grades of gasoline and more than 120,500 tons of diesel fuel were produced and shipped to consumers.

The biggest increase in over-plan production was observed in the production of road bitumen. Thus, during the reporting period, more than 24,300 tons of bitumen were produced, and 3,600 tons were produced over the plan. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate amounted to 112.2 percent.
