New well commissioned in Uzbekistan’s Kuyi Surgil gas field

ERIELL Group international oilfield services commissioned well No. 15 at the Kuyi Surgil field in the Muynak region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the company's statement.

The work was carried out jointly with Uzbekistan's Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company.

The ERIELL Group company completed the construction of a loop gas pipeline with a diameter of 108 × 6 mm and a length of 670 m. The well was drilled and connected to the gas assembly point in the Kuyi Surgil field.

Drilling was carried out as part of the implementation of the Program of measures to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021.

“All work was carried out according to the schedule. As a result, our specialists successfully connected the gas pipeline from well No. 15 to the gas assembly point,” ERIELL Group’s Drilling Department said.

On Nov. 6, 1 million cubic meters of gas per day was received at well No. 15 of the Kuyi Surgil field.
