By Fakhri Vakilov - Trend:

RON-92 gasoline is now available at Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company’s gas stations in Tashkent, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

This type of gasoline is imported into Uzbekistan and costs 4 cents more expensive than the RON-91 at the gas stations of Uzbekneftegaz.

For a liter of imported fuel the consumer will have to pay 64 cents against 60 cents for a liter of RON-91, which is produced in Uzbekistan.

From January 1, 2019, instead of a tax on the consumption of gasoline, diesel fuel and gas, an excise tax was introduced in Uzbekistan, which is payable when the specified types of automobile fuel are sold to the final consumer.

The last time the price of gasoline rose in August 2019.
