Gasoline sold at Iran Energy Exchange

As many as 885,000 barrels (102,200 tons) of RON 87 gasoline were sold Jan. 14 at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), Trend reports with reference to the IRENEX Jan. 15.

The cost of the sold gasoline was $56.9 million.

The gasoline was sold to be exported by sea.

The National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company put up gasoline for $69.45 per barrel for sale and sold it for the same price.

In total, 109,200 tons of oil products were sold at the IRENEX for 7.5 trillion rials (approximately $58.4 million according to SANA system).

SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 145,926 rials, and the price of $1 is 129,899 rials.

A number of oil products, including RON 87 and RON 91 gasoline, white oil, pyrolyzed benzene and petrochemicals will be put up for sale at the IRENEX Jan. 15.
