Over 25,000 tons of paint and varnish were produced in Azerbaijan in 2019, which is 1.7 times more compared to 2018, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
Azerbaijan produced 88,100 tons of propylene in 2019, which is 56.8 percent compared to 2018.
Last year, 117,200 tons of ethylene were produced in the country which indicates an increase of 18.5 percent compared to the preceding year.
Growth was observed during 2019 in the production of most of the main types of chemical products in Azerbaijan.
