This year, oil production at the Balakhani onshore field in Azerbaijan is projected at 1.6 million barrels, which is 34,000 barrels less than the forecast figure for 2019, Trend reports with reference to a report by the Chamber of Accounts on the budget of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund SOFAZ.
Production of 530,000 barrels of oil is forecasted in 2020 on the onshore Zig-Hovsan field block, which is 1,000 barrels more compared to 2019, according to the report.
It is also reported that this year, oil production at the Binagadi onshore field is expected at 977,000 barrels of oil, which is 1,000 barrels less than the expected figure for 2019.
Oil production of 1.1 million barrels is expected from the Surakhani onshore field in 2020, which is 10,000 barrels less than expected in 2019.
In 2018, 1.7 million barrels of oil were extracted from the Balakhani field, 500,000 – from Zig-Hovsan, 1 million – from Binagadi, and 1.1 million - from Surakhani fields.
