Iran discloses production volume of East Oil and Gas Production Company

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 18

The East Oil and Gas Production Company situated in Iran’s north-eastern Razavi Khorasan province extracted 13.8 billion cubic meters since the beginning of this Iranian year (March 21, 2019) up till now, Executive Director of the company Abulhasan Mohammadi said.

Mohammadi made the remark at the meeting dedicated to the forecast of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company for the first half of next Iranian year (beginning on March 21, 2020), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company’s website.

“The East Oil and Gas Production Company produced 41.5 million cubic meters of gas daily,” the executive director said. “So far, the company’s gas production plan has been fulfilled by 103 percent and a maximum level of gas production reached 65.3 million cubic meters per day.”

“The company has increased the production capacity by two million cubic meters by repairing several existing wells,” Mohammadi added. “Some 1.4 billion cubic meters of gas was pumped into the Shurije D reservoir during eight months of this Iranian year (from March 21 through November 21) and 1.3 billion cubic meters of gas were used in winter.”

The East Oil and Gas Production Company is operating under the Central Oil Fields Company. The company deals with Khangiran and Gunbadli gas fields.
