More than 5.2 billion liters of gasoline were produced in accordance with the Euro 4 standard at the Shazand Imam Khomeini Oil Refining Company of Shazand county in Iran's Markazi province in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), the Executive Director of Shazand Oil Refinery in Iran Gulamhossein Ramazanpour said, Trend report citing Shana news agency.
According to Ramazanpour, in addition, the company produced 612 million liters of premium gasoline and 3.8 billion liters of diesel.
Ramazanpour added that the company also produced 136,000 tons of sulfur.
Shazand Imam Khomeini Oil Refining Company was launched in 1993 with the capacity to process 150,000 barrels of oil per day. The company currently processes more than 250,000 barrels of oil. Shazand Imam Khomeini Oil Refining Company produces more than 17 million liters of gasoline and 12 million liters of diesel in accordance with Euro 4 standards. In addition, the company produces 500 tons of propylene, 400 tons of granular sulfur and 2,000 tons of liquefied gas per day.
