A new record was set in production at the olefin plant of Jam Petrochemical Company in Bushehr province which is located southern Iran, last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), said Ourmazd Dehghani, the Operations manager at the plant, Trend reports citing official website of Company.
According to Dehghani, the plant produced 1.16 million tons of ethylene last Iranian year.
Dehghani added that the plan was implemented by 98 percent in the manufacturing sector.
The official said that the company's production plan will be fully implemented this year, with the elimination of small defects in the company's plants and the provision of sufficient fuel in the current Iranian year (starting March 20, 2020).
"Despite problems such as falling prices for hydrocarbons, the company's production continues," he said.
Iran's Jam Petrochemical Company plans to double production in five years starting in 2016. Jam Petrochemical Company are produce butadiene, butente, heavy polyethylene (HDPE), light polyethylene (LLDPE) and olefin products.
