Azerbaijan exported about 8,900 tons of liquefied natural gas from January through February 2020, which is 29 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the report of the country's State Statistical Committee on April 20.
According to the committee, during the reporting period liquefied gas worth over $1.6 million was exported from the country, which is 27.4 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Meanwhile, 1.4 million cubic meters of natural gas were exported, which is 1.4 times less compared to 1Q2019.
Azerbaijan exported about 52,900 tons of liquefied natural gas in 2019, which is 18.4 percent less compared to 2018.
Liquefied gas worth $12.1 million was exported from Azerbaijan in 2019, which is 24.5 percent less compared to 2018.
Azerbaijan exported 12.5 million cubic meters of natural gas in 2019, which is 1.6 times more than in 2018.
Azerbaijan exported 78,916 tons of liquefied gas in 2018, which is 8.6 percent more compared to 2017. Some 6.4 million cubic meters of natural gas were exported in 2018, which is 5.6 percent more compared to 2017.
