Iran exports 32 million cubic meters of gas to Iraq daily, said National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Dispatching Director Mehdi Jamshidi Dana, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to Jamshidi Dana, there have been no changes in Iran's exports to Iraq.

Jamshidi Dana added that Iran's gas exports to Turkey have been suspended since the March 31 explosion of a pipeline.

The official said that it will take about 2.5 months to repair the pipeline. Iran may start exporting gas to Turkey in late June due this.

Jamshidi Dana said that 190 million cubic meters of gas were delivered to Iran's Thermal Power Plants.

"As the temperature rises, gas consumption in apartments has decreased and 250 million cubic meters of gas is consumed daily," he said.

Iran exported 17.5 billion cubic meters of gas last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020). In total, 267 billion cubic meters of gas was produced in Iran last year.
