Solar panel stations to be commissioned in Iran's Ardabil province

Seven solar panel stations with the total capacity of 35-kilowatt will be commissioned in the villages of Kovsar county of Ardabil province in northwestern Iran, said Hossein Ghadimi, executive director of Ardabil Province Electric Energy Distribution Company, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of Iran.

According to Ghadimi, the construction of these stations will be completed within 20 days. The loans will be repaid within 60 months.

Ghadimi added that 500 million rials (about $11,900) worth loans are planned for the construction of the stations.

The official said that with the construction of 5-kilowatt solar panel stations, each family will earn about 100 million rials (about $2,380) a year.

Ghadimi said that part of this revenue will be used to repay the loans for the solar panel stations and the rest will be paid by the families.

The official said that the construction of solar panel stations will continue until the end of the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020).
