Some 3,694 tons of paint and varnish were produced in Azerbaijan from January through April 2020, which is 57.6 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistics Committee.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 44,800 tons of propylene, which is 17.9 percent more compared to the first 4 months of last year.
Some 57,700 tons of ethylene were produced in the country during the reporting period.
