BP Petrolleri A.S. reduces liquid fuels’ sales in Turkey

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31

BP Petrolleri A.S. in Turkey has imported 33,438 tons of diesel fuel in March 2020, as compared to 10,000 tons in the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The company’s market share stood at 0.95 percent in March 2020, versus 0.27 percent in March 2019.

Bunker delivery of jet fuel by BP Petrolleri A.S. stood at 219 tons in March 2020 with 0.02 percent market share. This is while in March 2019, the company exported 888.9 tons of jet fuel with market share of 0.06 percent.

As for domestic sales, BP Petrolleri A.S. sold 20,193 tons of gasoline, 130,164 tons of diesel, 469 tons of fuel oil, 14 tons of kerosene in March 2020.

This is while in March 2019, the company carried out bunker delivery of 3,567 tons of jet fuel in Turkey’s domestic market.

The bunker delivery of jet fuel by the company stood at 297 tons of jet fuel from January through March 2020, as compared to 10,490 tons in the same period of 2019.

BP Petrolleri A.S. sold a total of 150,841 tons of liquid fuels, including 20,193 tons of gasoline, 130,164 tons of diesel, 469 tons of fuel oil and 14 tons of kerosene in Turkey’s domestic market in March 2020.

This is while in March 2019, the company sold 175,981 tons of liquid fuels in Turkey’s domestic market, including 21,960 tons of gasoline, 153,394 tons of diesel, 601 tons of fuel oil and 23 tons of kerosene.
