The UNG Petro company, which operates filling stations of Uzbekneftegaz, has launched production of high quality motor oils and antifreeze, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz.
The additives used in the production of oils imported from Germany, China and other countries allow producing motor oils in accordance with European standards.
Starting from June 9 2020, these products will be sold through a network of petrol stations and through points of motor oil replacement located on their territory, the report says.
In March 2020, Bukhara Refinery started production of high-quality Euro-4 and Euro-5 standard diesel fuel, with an initial capacity of 100,000 tons per year.
Recently, Bukhara Oil Refinery announced about its plans to start production of RON-91, RON-93, RON-95 fuels and get an opportunity to completely abandon production of RON-80 gasoline. It will also allow switching over to production of diesel fuel meeting requirements of Euro-5 standard.
The national holding company Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
