Turkish company to build waste-to-energy plant in Uzbekistan

Turkish company Calik Enerji Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi will implement an energy project in Namangan region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekistan National News Agency.

Representative of Turkish Calik Enerji Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi Gokhan Kucuk company arrived in Namangan, within the framework of mutual economic cooperation.

Negotiations were held at the Regional Department of Investment and Foreign Trade on the implementation of the Turkish company's project on turning waste into renewable energy, the message said.

The project worth $40 million will contribute to the production of up to 15 MW of electricity.

The Turkish investor noted that the conditions created in the region were very pleasant, and the project will be implemented.

Calik Enerji is a Turkish energy company of the Calık Holding, which was established in 1998. The Company offers power generation, power systems, refinery, pipelines, electricity, and natural gas distribution. Calik Enerji Sanayi Ve Ticaret serves customers worldwide.
