Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow from well #55 at Shimoly Mubarek field of Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.
As a result of drilling work performed at 2,140-2,152 meters and installation of a filter, the company received an industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 150,000 cubic meters and 5.5 tons of gas condensate.
Shimoly Mubarek (North Mubarek) gas condensate field is located in Mubarek district of Kashkadarya Region and was commissioned in 1968.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekneftegaz JSC received an industrial gas inflow at well #11 at Oydin field in Shurtan oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. Company received commercial gas inflow with daily flow of 50,000 cubic meters, and obtained one ton of gas condensate.
Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field and ensure the increase in gas production.
