The volume of gas condensate delivered by Karoun Oil and Gas Production Company's NGL-600 Gas and Liquid Gas Plant to Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company increased by 2,500 barrels, the National Iranian South Oil Company’s Production Manager Saeid Kouti said, Trend reports with reference to the company’s website.

According to Kouti, the increase was achieved as a result of reforms at the NGL-600 Gas and Liquefied Gas Plant.

Kouti stressed that in addition to liquefied gas, the plant also produces light gas and delivers it to Maroon Petrochemical Company for the production of C2 + products.

The official said that the NGL-600 Gas and Liquefied Gas Plant is owned by Karoun Oil and Gas Production Company and has the potential to process 440 million cubic feet (approximately 12.4 million cubic meters) of gas per day.

Iran's Karoun Oil and Gas Production Company operates under the auspices of the National Iranian South Oil Company. The company has 666 oil wells in its territory and produces more than 1 million barrels of oil per day. After the first refining, half of this oil is sent for export to the Kharg export terminal, and the rest to Tehran and Abadan Refining Company.

Karoun Oil and Gas Production Company currently produces 600 million cubic feet (about 16.9 million cubic meters) of gas per day. The company also produces 55,000 barrels of gas condensate per day.
