The retail sales of gasoline and diesel fuel in Azerbaijan totaled 807.3 million manat from January through May 2020, Trend reports citing a report of the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, the retail sales of gasoline and diesel fuel in the country decreased by 0.8 percent compared to the indicator of the same period of 2019, which was 813.9 million manat.
The share of sales of gasoline and diesel fuel in the total retail turnover of the country amounted to 5.5 percent.
In the first 5 months of this year, the total production of petrochemicals in Azerbaijan made up over 1.2 billion manat, having shown a 3.2 percent annual growth.
At the same time, the volume of gasoline and diesel fuel production in the country amounted to 505,900 tons and 930,600 tons, respectively.
