BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8
By Leman Zeynalova - Trend:
Romania's Competition Council has approved the agreed lease of five filling stations owned by Romanian chain Ipeco by Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR, Trend reports citing the Competition Council.
"Following a review of the transaction, the Competition Council found that it does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition in the market, in particular by establishing or strengthening of a dominant position," said the Council.
The five stations which are located in Gorj county are to be operated by SOCAR on a long-term lease.
In April, the Council approved SOCAR's lease of six fuel stations owned by Romanian chain Aral M.T.B for a period of ten years.
