Oil transportation via tankers in Kazakhstan's Aktau port up year-on-year

Consolidated oil turnover of Kazakhstan’s KazTransOil JSC (KTO) amounted to 22.1 million ton-kilometers in 1H2020, which is 735 million ton-kilometers less than in the 1H2019, Trend reports with reference to KTO.

KTO has transported 21.5 million tons of oil through the main oil pipeline system, which is 689,000 tons less than in the 1H2019.

Cargo oil turnover through the system of main oil pipelines of KTO was 18.4 billion ton-kilometers, which 454 million ton-kilometers less than in 1H2019.

The volume of oil transportation to Kazakhstan’s refineries through KTO’s main oil pipelines decreased by 803,000 tons (10 percent) compared to 1H2019, having amounted to 7.3 million tons.

Some 2.6 million tons were delivered to the Atyrau oil refinery, 2.3 million tons to PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, 2.4 million tons to the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP, and 389,000 tons to the bituminous plant based at the Aktau Plastic Mass Plant LLP.

Oil transportation volume along the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline increased by 420,000 tons year-on-year and amounted to 7.6 million tons.

The section of the TON-2 oil pipeline located in Kazakhstan, transported 5.4 million tons of oil, which is 20,000 tons more than in 1H2019.

Some 5.3 million tons of oil were transshipped to the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline and 442,000 tons of oil to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium-Kazakhstan main oil pipeline system. This is 182,000 tons and 397,000 tons less than in 1H2019, respectively.

A total of 247,000 tons of oil were drained from railway tanks, which is 6,000 tons less than in 1H2019. The volume of oil loading into tankers in Kazakh Aktau port using KTO capacities amounted to 1.5 million tons, oil loading into railway tanks was 290,000 tons, which is 49,000 tons and 245,000 tons more, respectively.

The Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP pipeline system transported 7.5 million tons of oil, which is 556,000 tons less than in 1H2019.

Cargo turnover was 6.9 billion ton-kilometers, which is 350 million ton-kilometers less than in 1H2019.

The volume of oil transportation through the MunaiTas LLP oil pipeline amounted to 1.3 million tons, which is 400,000 tons less than in 1H2019. Cargo turnover also decreased by 206 million ton-kilometers, amounting to 511 million ton-kilometers.

Oil and petroleum products transshipment in Batumi oil terminal LLC and Petrotrans LTD Companies Group decreased to 409,000 tons, which is 80,000 tons less than in 1H2019.
