Russian company supplies pipes to Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24

By Ilkin Seyfaddini - Trend:

Russian Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (part of CHTPZ Group) supplied more than 9,500 tons of large-diameter welded pipes to ERIELL Group company for the construction of a gas collector pipeline at the Samantepa Gas Processing Plant in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to CHTPZ Group.

The order was fulfilled using flat steel with a special ratio of high strength group and required level of corrosion resistance, which was specially developed by CHTPZ Group partner - Ural Steel (part of Russian Metalloinvest company). This technical solution has reduced the metal intensity of the project.

In 2019, CHTPZ Group supplied pipes for the construction of the Saryarka gas pipeline in Nur-Sultan city of Kazakhstan and the TAPI (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India) gas pipeline section in Turkmenistan.

CHTPZ Group comprises ferrous industry enterprises and companies including Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant, Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant and a warehouse facility selling the Group's tubular products in Russian regions.

ERIELL Group is an international oilfield service company providing well construction and workover services to leading oil and gas companies in Russia, Central Asia and the Middle East. The company started its operations in Uzbekistan in 2007.
