Iran's Shazand Oil Refining Company reveals volume of produced gasoline

The Shazand (Imam Khomeini) Oil Refining Company, in the Shazand county of the Markazi Province of Iran, has produced 1.17 billion liters of gasoline in accordance with Euro 4 standards since beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020) to date (July 27), Executive Director of Shazand Oil Refining Company Gholamhossein Ramazanpour said, Trend reports citing the company.

Ramazanpour emphasized that the company supplies more than 22 percent of Iran's gasoline consumption and the gasoline is mainly used in Tehran, Alborz and Markazi provinces.

Ramazanpour added that the company produces more than 12.5 million liters of gasoline per day in accordance with the Euro 4 standard.

"In addition, more than 17 million liters of super gasoline was produced in the current Iranian year and sent to different regions of the country," he said.

The director noted that the Shazand Oil Refining Company also produced 275 million liters of liquefied gas, 139 million liters of white oil and 988 million liters of diesel, so far.

Ramazanpour stressed that the company processed 3.6 billion liters of crude oil in the current Iranian year.

The Shazand (Imam Khomeini) Oil Refining Company was launched in 1993 with the capacity to process 150,000 barrels of oil per day. The company currently processes more than 250,000 barrels of oil.

It also produces more than 17 million liters of gasoline and 12 million liters of diesel in accordance with the Euro 4 standard as well as 500 tons of propylene, 400 tons of granular sulfur and 2,000 tons of liquefied gas per day.

Iran's Shazand Oil Refining Company produced 3.8 billion liters of diesel and 136,000 tons of sulfur in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).
