Commissioning and construction start of as many as 268 electricity facilities will be carried out in the Khuzestan Province (southwestern Iran) during the government week in Iran (August 23-29), with an investment of 1.22 trillion rials (about $29 million), said Ali Khedri executive director of Khouzestan Electricity Power Distribution Company, Trend report citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.
The director stressed that these facilities are located in 28 cities and villages of Khuzestan Province.
Khedri added that 2,440 people will be employed with the commissioning or laying of the foundations of these facilities.
"The most number of the facilities will be commissioned in Dezful county (35 facilities), in Behbahan county (29 facilities), in Masjed Soleyman county (28 facilities), in Abadan county (32 facilities), in Khorramshahr county (32 facilities), in Andika county (14 facilities) and in Andimeshk county (14 facilities)," he said.
