Turkmenistan’s Turkmennebit State Concern exceeded oil production by 6.7 percent, while natural gas production - by 48.6 percent from January through July 2020, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gas electronic newspaper.
The state concern manufactured 2.3 million tons of oil and 1.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the reporting period.
Turkmenistan’s Turkmenoil plans to expand its cooperation with foreign companies to improve the efficiency of traditional oil deposits and develop new ones.
As reported, Turkmenistan surpassed projections of oil and gas condensate production from January through July 2020.
The oil and gas condensate production improved by 2.4 percent, natural and associated gas increased by 1.6 percent, gas exports rose by 0.4 percent, oil refining climbed by 3.7 percent, gasoline production grew by 2.3 percent, and diesel fuel production surged by 6.9 percent.
A decision was made to build new plants for processing raw materials, as well as modernize existing ones.
