Turkmenistan is stepping up the implementation of projects aimed at prospecting, exploration, and industrial development of new oil and gas fields, as well as the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials and manufacture of products that are in high demand on global markets, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gas electronic newspaper.
The corresponding instruction was given by President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
As reported, special attention should be paid to the issue of diversification of Turkmen energy export resources, during the implementation of these projects.
In general, the projects are aimed at strengthening the potential of the country's oil and gas industry.
As reported, Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through August 2020.
The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 2.2 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.2 percent, gas exports – by 0.8 percent, oil refining – by 3.1 percent, gasoline production – by 5.6 percent, diesel fuel production – by 6.3 percent, kerosene production – 6.9.
