As of now, Iran can store more than 13 billion liters of oil products, Trend reports citing National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company’s official website.
According to the report, currently, more than 250 million liters of main oil products can be distributed in Iran per day.
“The crude oil is transported from the fields to refineries via pipelines (ranging from 4 to 32 inches) that have the length of more than 14,000 kilometers in 12 operating zones,” the report said.
According to the report, 7,000 cubic meters of fuel is currently transported daily from refineries to petrochemical plants in Iran.
There are about 4,000 petrol stations, 2,490 CNG filling stations and 50 aircraft refueling stations in Iran, at present, the report added.
