Turkey has Imported a total of 311,968 tons of crude oil in July 2020, which accounted for 7.17 percent of total Turkey’s crude oil imports, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority ( EPDK).
The overall Turkey’s import of crude oil from Kazakhstan from Jan. through Jul. 2020 amounted to 1.6 million tons.
Thus, Turkey’s import of Kazakh crude oil decreased by 32.5 percent compared to Jan. 2020 (413,547 tons), and increased by 2.02 times compared to the volume imported in June 2020.
The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey amounted to $1.8 billion over the first seven months of 2020, compared to $1.7 billion during the same period of 2019.
Kazakhstan’s export to Turkey amounted to $1.37 billion over the period from January through July 2020, compared to $1.307 billion during the same period of 2019.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Turkey amounted to nearly $496.8 million over the reporting period, compared to $435.7 million during the same period of 2019.
The total volume of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover amounted to $48.7 billion over the period from Jan. through July 2020 which indicates a decrease from $54.5 billion during the same period of 2019.
Kazakhstan’s export amounted to $28.6 billion during the reporting period of 2020 ($33.03 billion in the same period of 2019), whereas imports amounted to $20.1 billion ($21.5 billion in 2019).
