Iran's Persian Gulf Star Oil Company boosts its exports

Iran's Persian Gulf Star Oil Company increased its exports by 120 percent in terms of volume during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Executive Director of the company, Mohammad Ali Dadvar said, Trend reports citing the company’s official website.

Over the reporting period, more than 800,000 tons of light naphtha, medium naphtha, heavy distillate and solvent 402 products were exported, according to Dadvar.

The director added that it is hoped that the company's exports will also increase in the next months.

Presently, the company produces an average of 3.5-4 million liters of naphtha per day. Most of the naphtha produced is exported, and the rest is delivered as fuel to the Tabriz Petrochemical Company and Shazand Petrochemical Company.

Iran's Persian Gulf Star Oil Company is located in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran). The company can produce 47 million liters of gasoline daily in accordance with Euro 5 standard. The company's refinery will increase daily gasoline production to 54 million liters and diesel production to 20 million liters with the increasing of refining capacity.

Iran’s Persian Gulf Star Oil Company produced more than 13 billion liters of gasoline in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).
