Kazakhstan decreases crude petroleum oil supplies to Netherlands

Kazakhstan has exported 16,234 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 5.07 million euros to the Netherlands in August 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 127,657 tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 451.3 million euros to the Netherlands from Jan. through Aug. 2020.

Thus, the August volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to the Netherlands is 14.4 percent less than in volume compared to July 2020 (18,968 tons) and is 9.04 percent less than in Feb. 2020 (17,848 tons). No export was carried out in Jan. 2020.

August’s export value is also 15.9 percent less than in July 2020 (6.04 million euros) and is 28.05 percent less than in Feb. 2020 (7.05 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands amounted to $2.2 billion over the first eight months of 2020, compared to $2.8 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to the Netherlands amounted to $2.08 billion over the period from January through August 2020, compared to $2.7 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from the Netherlands amounted to nearly $142.1 million over the reporting period, compared to $136.4 million during the same period of 2019.
