The capital of Nouri Petrochemical Company in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) has been increased by 9 trillion rials (about $214 million), Managing Director of the company Taghi Sanei said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to him, the company's capital has been increased by 200 percent. So, before, the company's capital amounted to 3 trillion rials (about $71.4 million).
The director added that the company boosted its production by 15 percent compared to the plan for 8 months (from March 20 through November 20, 2020).
Sanei stressed that the company produces 4.5 million tons of products a year.
About 60 percent of the products produced by Iran's Nouri Petrochemical Company are exported and 40 percent sold at the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX). The products are mainly exported to European countries, East and South Asian countries, the Indian subcontinent, and the countries around the Persian Gulf.
The company produces 1.2 million tons of p-Xylene, benzene, and p-Xylene and 3.3 million tons of heavy and light hydrocarbons, heavy aromatic, LPG, pentane, and light naphtha products annually.
Furthermore, the company’s plant consumes 4.7 million tons of fuel per year. Thus, 4.5 million tons of which is gas condensate and supplied from refineries of the South Pars Gas Company.
