Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas plans to increase productivity of wells

Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern is planning to influence the productive layers and increase productivity of the wells of the Dovletabat gas condensate field, said State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the Turkmengas State Concern Batyr Amanov, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.

Amanov made this remark at a meeting dedicated to the development of the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan.

He noted that the productivity of wells will be increased by using modern technologies in order to increase gas production.

In addition, Amanov told about the work that is being carried out jointly with foreign partners to develop the Galkynysh gas field and increase the volume of natural gas and gas condensate production.

Amanov also said that together with foreign structures, the construction of the second stage of a plant for the production of environmentally friendly gasoline from natural gas is being carried out in the Akhal region of Turkmenistan.

He added, that pipes have been welded and necessary equipment is being installed on the Turkmen section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) transnational gas pipeline.

As previously reported, Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern tripled the production of gasoline from January through October of this year.

In addition to gasoline, the state concern has increased the production of polyethylene by 42.2 percent and polypropylene by 22.7 percent.

In the reporting period, Turkmengas increased the manufacture of liquefied petroleum gases by 17.4 percent, as well as sulfur by 0.3 percent, which are additional products manufactured at the natural gas gasoline production plant in Akhal.
