Iran reveals forecast for oil sales for next year

TEHRAN, Iran, Nov. 2

Iran's government made an important prediction in the next Iranian year (start on March 21, 2021) budget bill about the sources of income.

"It is assumed that next Iranian year (start on March 21, 2021) the country will be able to export 2.3 million barrels of oil per day to either the applicant foreign countries or domestically in advance or in cash to the people," Iranian Vice-President Isaq Jahanjiri said on the sideline of the cabinet meeting today on Wednesday, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The First Vice President added that The Program and Budget Organization has been asked to use oil resources in the development and support sectors.

"The issue of production, employment, meeting the basic needs of the people, and supporting the livelihood of the people are among the most important issues we face next Iranian year," he said. "It seems that next Iranian year(start on March 21, 2021) we should pay special attention to these sectors.

"In many countries, the number of unemployed due to the coronavirus outbreak has reached several million," he said adding that “We also had a job loss of about 1.2 million people in the summer.

The vice president said that there was lower unemployment in the industry and production sector.

"The rise in unemployment is mainly in the service and the tourism sectors," he said expressing hope that this loss will be compensated.
