Reconstruction and modernization works continued at the Baku Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev in 2019, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR.
Over this period, the plant has refined 6.230 million tons of crude, including almost 6.190 million tons of oil and 40,800 tons of crude received from outside.
The refinery fulfilled the plans for crude oil processing by 101.4 percent and for the total crude refining by 103.1 percent.
During the reporting period, the Baku Refinery produced 1.161 million tons of gasoline, 246,790 tons of primary refined gasoline fraction (for Azerkimya production union of SOCAR), 591,130 tons of jet fuel, 2.080 million tons of diesel fuel, 351,690 tons of mild phlegm, 10,420 tons of severe phlegm, 126,460 tons of heating oil, 238,440 tons of coke oil, 197,920 tons of liquefied gases, 54,270 tons of purified dry gas (for Azerkimya), 85,380 tons of atmospheric gas oil fraction, 162,910 tons of vacuum gas oil, 32,550 tons of engine fuel, 260,090 tons of bitumen and 22,910 tons of lubricants.
