The volume of gas produced in Azerbaijan amounted to more than 33.3 billion cubic meters in the past eleven months of 2020, having increased by 3.6 percent year on year, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistics Committee.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced commercial gas in a volume of 23.6 billion cubic meters, which is 6.4 percent more than a year earlier, reads the report.
At the same time, oil and gas condensate was produced by almost 31.6 million tons, while a year earlier this figure was 7.8 percent more.
As of December 1, 2020, the stock of finished oil products amounted to 387,500 tons, said the report.
In 2019, Azerbaijan produced 37.5 million tons of oil and gas condensate, which is approximately the same as in 2018. The bulk of oil production in Azerbaijan falls on the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) block of oil and gas fields.
Azerbaijan’s gas production in 2019 amounted to 35.5 billion cubic meters, commercial gas - 24.5 billion cubic meters.
