As many as 62 development and research projects are being implemented by the companies operating under the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, at present, Deputy Director of the company, Mojtaba Taheri Najafabadi said, Trend reports citing the company’s official website.
According to Najafabadi, the production of new products, energy saving, development of technology and the elimination of production barriers are planned within these projects.
He added that about $40 million and 262 billion rials (about $6.24 million) are to be spent for these projects.
The deputy director stressed that the projects are implemented by 3 affiliated companies of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company – Nouri Petrochemical Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Karun Petrochemical Company.
