Netherlands slightly increase petroleum oil imports volume from Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has exported 17,977 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 5.4 million euros to the Netherlands in October 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 163,570 tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 43.3 million euros to the Netherlands from Jan. through Oct. 2020.

Thus, the October volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to the Netherlands is 0.2 percent more than in volume compared to September 2020 (17,938 tons) and is 0.7 percent more than in Feb. 2020 (17,848 tons). No export was carried out in Jan. 2020.

October’s export value is also 0.1 percent less than in September 2020 (5.5 million euros) and is 22.1 percent less than in Feb. 2020 (7.05 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands amounted to $2.7 billion over the first ten months of 2020, compared to $4.02 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to the Netherlands amounted to $2.5 billion over the period from January through Oct. 2020, compared to $3.8 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from the Netherlands amounted to nearly $173.5 million over the reporting period, compared to $175.8 million during the same period of 2019.
