A new well was opened at the Shimoliy Muborak gas condensate field in Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, the presence of natural gas reserves was determined at the Shimoliy Muborak gas condensate field as a result of the geological exploration work carried out. After that, drilling was carried out in well No. 57 OE.
It is reported that the filter was installed in the range of 2,089–2,092 meters of the well and the development was completed.
It was noted that the average production of 70,000 cubic meters of natural gas and one ton of gas condensate per day was achieved after the completion of the well development.
Currently, specialists are working on equipping the wellhead and connecting it to the gas collector.
Uzbekneftegaz noted that the effective work carried out in 2020 is yielding results from the first days of 2021, and natural gas production wells are being opened.
The Shimoliy Muborak gas condensate field is located in the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region and was launched in 1968.
