SOCAR Construction continues the work at Mozyr Oil Refinery is Belarus, the company told Trend.

“We inked an agreement with Belteploizolyatsiya OJSC on Jan.11, 2021 for the implementation of a complex of thermal insulating works on technological pipelines and equipment during the construction of the heavy oil residue hydrocracking complex, combined hydrocracking unit at Mozyr Oil Refinery.

SOCAR Construction said the heating work will cover the period from January through June 2021. “During this period, our company specialists will carry out thermal insulation works on blocks #010, #011 and partially on # 002. The estimated cost of work under the contract is 4,885,437.94 Belarusian rubles ($1,902,950)

The contract envisages implementation of thermal insulation of pipelines and equipment at the facility on more than 1,700 lines. The scope of work performed is more than 1500 m3 of insulation.

SOCAR Construction, subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, has completed the installation of a hydrocracking unit at Mozyr oil refinery, the second largest refinery in Belarus, Trend reports citing the company.

The installation work at the Complex for hydrocracking of heavy oil residues, one of the major units of Mozyr refinery, commenced in August 2019.

SOCAR Construction carried out a full range of works on installation of technological pipelines, including pre-assembly, installation, heat treatment, installation of pipeline fittings, non-destructive testing of welded joints, painting, hydraulic and pneumatic tests.
