Kazakhstan resumes petroleum gas exports to Bulgaria

Kazakhstan has exported 412,400 kg of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons worth to Bulgaria to 147,900 euros in November 2020, a Eurostat representative told Trend.

In turn, overall petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Bulgaria amounted to 5.6 million kg worth 1.8 million euros over the period from Jan. through Nov. 2020.

Thus, compared to August 2020 the export volume increased by 2.6 times (154,700 kg), whereas compared to Jan. 2020 the volume dropped by 67.3 percent (1.2 million kg). No export was carried out in October and September 2020.

The value of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Bulgaria was 2.9 times more than in August 2020 (50,777 euros), and 72.8 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (545,050 euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Bulgaria amounted to $239.8 million over the first 11 months of 2020, compared to $286.5 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Bulgaria amounted to $206.8 million over the period from January through Nov. 2020, compared to $241.8 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Bulgaria amounted to nearly $32.9 million over the reporting period, compared to $44.7 million during the same period of 2019.
