Azerbaijan exported 4,888 tons of petroleum bitumen in January 2021, Trend reports with reference to the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the committee, in total terms, the export of petroleum bitumen in the reporting month amounted to $798,000.
At the same time, the export volume of petroleum coke from Azerbaijan amounted to 28,097 tons, and in terms of money - $1.68 million.
During the mentioned month, the share of petroleum bitumen in the total export volume of the country amounted to 0.05 percent, petroleum coke - 0.1 percent.
In Jan. 2021, Azerbaijan exported 4.01 million tons of oil, which is 0.7 percent more than in Jan. 2020.
In total, the volume of oil exports in January 2021 amounted to $1.35 billion, a decrease of 30 percent year on year.
The volume of exports of petroleum products made up nearly 39,306 tons, having shown a 33-percent drop on an annualized basis.
